We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where you are in the EEA or the UK, the GDPR / UK GDPR.

2. What data we process

Contact and order data: name, email, phone, shipping and billing address, order history, returns and support requests.
Payment data: processed by our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers.
Account and wishlist data: your account, saved favourites (starred dials) and early access status.
Newsletter data: your email and your marketing preferences, if you sign up.
Technical and usage data: IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, cookie identifiers.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Processing orders, payments, delivery, returns and warranty claims (performance of contract).
Your account, wishlist and early access (performance of contract).
Newsletter and marketing emails (consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link).
Analysing and improving our shop, preventing fraud and keeping the shop secure (legitimate interests).
Advertising and measuring advertising on platforms such as Meta and Google (consent, where required).
Complying with legal obligations, such as accounting and tax retention duties (legal obligation).

4. Recipients

We share personal data only as far as necessary with: Shopify (shop platform and hosting), payment providers, Swiss Post and other carriers, email and communication tools, advertising and analytics partners where you have consented, our manufacturing partner in case of warranty repairs (only order and defect information), professional advisers, and authorities where we are legally required to.

5. Shopify

Our shop runs on Shopify. Shopify processes personal data on our behalf to provide the shop. For certain enhanced features, Shopify processes data as an independent controller. More information: Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and Shopify Privacy Portal.

6. Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the shop to work (cart, checkout, login, saved favourites). Cookies for analytics and advertising are only set with your consent, which you can give or withdraw in the cookie banner.

7. International transfers

Your data may be processed in Switzerland, the EEA, the UK, the USA, Canada and other countries where our service providers operate. Where a country does not offer an adequate level of data protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework.

8. Retention

We keep personal data as long as necessary for the purposes above. Order and accounting records are kept for ten years as required by Swiss law. Newsletter data is deleted when you unsubscribe.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, data portability and withdrawal of consent. You can exercise these rights by email to info@provoquewatches.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), in the EEA the authority of your country of residence.

Residents of California and other US states may request access to or deletion of their personal information and opt out of the sharing of personal information for targeted advertising here. We do not sell personal information.

10. Children

Our Services are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Security

Our shop is served over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and payments are processed in line with PCI DSS. No transmission over the internet is completely secure.
